Downloads that offer comments on a particular Bible verse.

Commentary Toolbar

Print 
Prints the contents of the
Commentary window.
Previous/Next Page 
Displays the previous or next page
displayed in the Commentary window.
Commentaries 
Displays the list of available
commentaries. Select any commentary in the list to display its contents. You
can select a new commentary by clicking on it with the mouse, or by using
the cursor up and down keys. . Note that you can resize the dialog
containing the list of commentaries and you can move it to another location
on the screen so that it does not cover up the Commentary window.

Note:
You can also display a list of available commentaries, in the Task
pane, by selecting Commentaries from the Tasks menu. This has
the advantage that you can see the list of available commentaries and select
a new commentary at any time.
Book, Chapter, Verse 
Use these fields to select the
verse that is being commented on.
Previous/Next Verse 
Click on the “+” or “-” buttons to
view comments on the next or previous verse.
Display Verses Cited
in Text 
Displays a window containing all
the Bible verses cited in the Commentary window, or in selected text.
Bible Verses

This area displays the Bible verses that are
being commented upon. It provides the following useful features:
Show/Hide Bible
Verses Click the left mouse
button on the Blue Verse heading,
Matthew 5:3, to show or hide the yellow box
containing the verse text.
Select Bibles
Click the right
mouse button on the Blue Verse heading,
Matthew 5:3, to select the Bibles used to
display verse text. For example you might want to display a Greek New
Testament Bible such as Wescott-Hort shown below.

Display Greek/Hebrew
Word Study information In the above example, click the
mouse on a blue Strong’s number, such as 3107,
to display the Word Study Window for in depth study of the corresponding
Greek/Hebrew word.
Display Cited Verses
In many cases, verses cited in the Commentary can
be displayed by simply clicking on them with the mouse. These citations are
usually indicated in a bluish/green color, such as
Lu 1:42
or
Mt 21:9.
To display all verses cited in the
Commentary click on the “Display Verses Cited in Text” button, .
To display citations found in only a certain portion of the commentary text,
first select the text containing the citations you wish to view, before clicking
on “Display Verses Cited in Text” button, .
