BibleSpeak can
automatically speak out loud one or more Bible verses, for each day of the year,
at user defined intervals throughout the day.

The Daily
Scriptures dialog is used to set up Daily Scriptures for each day in a month and
specify how often to speak the current day’s scripture text throughout the day.
To display the Daily Scriptures dialog, select Daily
Scriptures from the Bible Menu. You should see the following:

To turn on
speaking or displaying of Daily Scriptures click on the Speak or
Display boxes so that
they contain a dot. When checked, the current day’s scripture text will be
displayed and/or spoken at the intervals indicated in the Hours and
Minutes fields. If this box is not checked, the
Daily Scriptures feature is turned off and no scripture text will be spoken.
Use the
Hours and Minutes
fields to set how often to speak the text. The settings in the above dialog will
cause the current day’s verse text to be spoken once every hour that BibleSpeak
is running. To repeat the verse text more often than once per hour, set the
Hours field to zero and the
Minutes field to the desired interval in minutes.
BibleSpeak
comes with predefined scriptures for each day of the year, but it is easy to set
up your own scriptures to be spoken each day. Scriptures are defined one month
at a time by clicking on the buttons January
through December. The Bible Study Verses dialog is
used to set up the verses for each day of the month. For example clicking on the
January button displays the following:

The Title
field of the Bible Study Verses dialog should be the name of the month. You can
specify one or more Bible Verses for each day of the month, from day 1 to day
31, in the citation entry fields 1 through 31.
To print out
all the Daily Scriptures for an entire month try the following:
1. Click on any of the buttons January through
December in the Daily Scriptures dialog to display the Bible Study
Verses dialog for that month.
2. Click the Print and Preview button in the Bible Study
Verses dialog to display the Bible Verses dialog.
3. At the bottom of the Bible Verses dialog, select the display
style named “_Default Daily Scriptures” or
“_Default Daily Scriptures Text Size Small”.
For the month of January you should see the

4. Click the Print button in the Bible Verses
dialog then select Print from the popup menu.
To select a
different Bible click the Bibles button in the Bible Verses dialog above.
